Add DMARC record WordPress using cPanel
In this WordPress tutorial video, you will learn how to add DMARC records to your website using cPanel. DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) is essential for enhancing your email security and ensuring reliable email delivery.
To begin, log in to your cPanel dashboard. Once inside cPanel, scroll down until you find the ‘Domains’ section. Click on ‘Domains’ to access a list of all the domains associated with your cPanel account. Select the domain for which you want to add the DMARC record. After choosing your domain, click on ‘Manage’ to enter the domain management settings. Here, you’ll find an option to ‘Modify the Zone’ or access the ‘DNS Zone Editor.’ Clicking on this option will take you to the DNS management interface, where you can add and edit DNS records.
In the DNS Zone Editor, look for the option to ‘Add Record.’ When you click on it, a drop-down menu will appear. Select ‘TXT’ from the list of record types.
Now, in the ‘Name’ field, enter _dmarc. Some hosts may automatically add the dot, so be mindful of this step depending on your hosting provider. In the ‘Record’ field, you’ll need to enter the following value: v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:[email protected]. Remember to replace [email protected] with your actual email address.
Once you’ve filled in the details, click ‘Save’ or ‘Add Record’ to finalize the process. You have now successfully added the DMARC records to your website.
Thank you very much.
