How to Update WordPress Plugins Manually | WP-Rocket
In this WordPress tutorial, we will guide you on how to manually update your WordPress plugins using cPanel. In this video, we will be updating the plugin WP-Rocket to its latest available version, but you can use the same process to update any plugins.
Simply log in to your cPanel and locate all your website files. Then, navigate to the WP-Content folder and open the Plugins directory. Inside this folder, you will find all the plugins for your website. Find the plugin you wish to update and make sure to take a backup of it before proceeding. Now, download the latest version of the plugin from the official source and upload it to the same folder. You can either replace or delete the old plugin and then extract the new files there.
That’s all there is to it; you now have the latest plugin installed. If you encounter any issues, you can always restore the backup. We hope this video is helpful. Thank you very much.
