In today’s WordPress tutorial, we’ll show you how to add a top bar to your WordPress website without using any plugins.

We will be using simple codes and CSS to add the top bar. Simply add the provided code to the theme’s functions. After adding the code, you must use the CSS to customize the top bar as per your requirements.

We have provided basic CSS to make changes to it; you can change the designs, colors as per your requirements.

Please note that the top bar stays fixed at the top (unless you modify the CSS). And when you are logged in the wpadmin bar might cut off the top bar; so simply either log out or check the site on incognito mode to see the toolbar.
